What are the parking rates and charges?

Parking is calculated on a calendar day basis. A free quote is currently available on our website.

This will provide you with a fixed price for your stay as well as several parking options to suit your needs.

How can I pre-book my parking spot?

We strongly recommend taking advantage of our online booking system. By pre-booking online you:

  1. Have access to better, online rates
  2. Are guaranteed a parking space on arrival
  3. Will save time when checking-in
  4.  Allow us to plan for your arrival

How do I redeem my Loyalty Points to receive FREE parking?

To redeem your Loyalty Points, simply login to your account and check your current point status. You can do this at ‘My Account / My Booking’ located at the top-right of each page. If you haven’t logged in before, you can use your last booking reference instead of a password.

Upon redemption, you will be provided with an e-Voucher and will then need to be claimed during an online booking by placing the e-Voucher code into the e-Voucher code section, prior to making payment (if any is required). How do I know if my booking has been accepted?

We will send you an email to confirm that your car park reservation has been accepted. If you have made a reservation, but have not received an email from us within 1 hour, please call (02) 8338 8888. Don’t forget to check your spam folder!

What is the height clearance at your car park?

Our height clearance is 2.2 meters, we can accommodate 2.4 meters for a small number of vehicles. When booking online, choose the VIP Parking option for a space on the ground floor which has a height clearance of 2.4 metres.

Are there any restrictions on what type of vehicle I can park?

Your car must be able to fit into a standard car space. Vehicles that cannot fit into a standard space, such as a large truck or motorhome, must email us at info@parkonking.com.au for a quote and to confirm if there is any suitable room at the time.

Where is Park on King located?

Park on King is located at 338 King Street in Mascot. You can find directions to our location here.

How safe/secure is my car at Park on King?

Park on King is a gated, secure car park only open between 4:30am – 11 pm. The parking facility has over 40 CCTV cameras and monitored by our security patrols 365 days a year.  Please note our CCTV footage is only held on our hard drives for 7 days.

How early should I arrive at Park on King to get to the terminal?

It is recommended to arrive at Park on King at least 45 minutes before you wish to be at the airport. This allows for traffic delays, finding an appropriate parking space for your vehicle, and to transfer your luggage into our awaiting buses.

Please note that this is in addition to the time the airline recommends you arrive at their check-in desk.

What happens if I arrive earlier than my booking time?

You can enter/exit at any time during your booking period, including before or after your booked times, as long as it occurs on the same day.

For example, if you are booked to arrive at 10AM, but arrive at 7AM, you are more than welcome to park early.

We use your booking times to ensure we allocate the right number of staff to peak times and plan our day, just like your planning ahead for your next trip. You can even amend your travel times up to 48 hours before by clicking on the ‘manage booking’ link in your confirmation email.

What's the process when entering the car park? Do I need to bring anything with me?

Our car park is equipped with license plate recognition cameras. If the vehicle number plate is the same as the one entered when booing online our cameras will detect this and the boom gate will automatically open. If the number plate is different or cannot be read, the QR code provided in the confirmation email will need to be scanned at the boom gate. Please have the email available if it is required for scanning.

Will my car be undercover?

If you select Undercover parking, your vehicle will be parked in our purpose built multi-storey car park. Note: Our car park is true undercover parking, unlike other car parks that may only be providing ‘covered’ parking which is usually shade-cloth covered areas.

Do I need to leave my keys with you?

You will only be required to leave your keys if you are getting your vehicle washed, serviced or charged while parked with us.

Please note, we are only able to return keys to the customer named on the booking confirmation unless otherwise requested upon check in.

What airport terminals do the shuttle buses stop at?

Domestic and international terminals.

How often do the courtesy buses run?

We have several courtesy buses that operate between 4:30am – 11pm, 365 days a year. They do not run to a timetable but operate continuously to and from the international and domestic airport terminals. When you arrive, we take you straight to departures, and when you return, you can phone us for a pick up.

Do you provide child restraints on the courtesy shuttle buses?

We do cater for children (6 + months) traveling in our buses and we have a Travelling with Children Policy which will provide you with all the information you need. When you make a booking via our website, you will be asked if you are travelling with children, however, if you book via another method, simply notify us in advance so we can arrange the correct bus for your trip.

Can I bring my surfboard or other oversized items on the shuttle bus?

It is recommended to check-in/drop off oversized items such as surfboards at the airport before arriving to Park on King.

What happens when I return from my trip?

When you arrive back in Sydney and have collected your luggage, simply phone 83388888 to arrange your pick up. The pickup locations are available to view here. Please note that on weekends there can be delays

Can I still get my car after Park on King closes?

You sure can! We have an after hours pedestrian entrance off King Street next to our reception check in area. All you need to do is scan your QR code located in the booking confirmation to unlock the door. Then simply find you vehicle and follow the directions to the exit.

Where do I catch the shuttle bus once I have landed?

 

There are 2 pickup locations at Sydney Airport. One for Domestic and one for International.

Domestic
Once exiting from Terminal 2 (Jet star, Virgin or Tiger) turn left and meet at the bottom of the horseshoe bend
Once exiting from Terminal 3 (Qantas) turn right and meet at the bottom of the horseshoe bend

International
Once exiting Terminal 1, go right and walk towards the Rydges Hotel. The pickup location is opposite the Rydges Hotel.

What if I stay longer than I booked?

If you need to extend your stay and you are yet to enter the car park, you can use the ‘manage booking’ link confirmation email to extend your booking. However, if you are already away, we would appreciate an email to advise us of your changed return dates.

On your return, you will be able to pay for the additional days at the standard parking rates as per our Booking Terms and Conditions.

I have multiple accounts/emails registered with you, can I merge them?

Yes, you certainly can merge multiple accounts that are owned by the same person. You may have changed email address and want to carry all the information over from your old account to your new.

The process will include merging all previous transactions/bookings and collating any loyalty points earned into one account. You can do this by logging into your preferred account and using the Merge Account feature.

How can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking by clicking on the ‘manage booking’ link in your confirmation email. We would recommend to future date your booking so you can utilise the booking at a later date. Alternatively, you can choose to cancel your booking and subject to our Booking Terms and Conditions you may be entitled to a partial refund.
